Do not address to the editor by name. Eventually, there can be many edition in the publication, only expecting to seize chance to read your work, and you do not want, that they have passed, do you?
Do not use a double interval. You never see articles, or the histories published in a double place, do you? So, why you should disturb a double interval between your work when someone only appears before necessity to transform it in a unique interval later?
Do not work to check your spelling or grammar. It - whether work of the editor not so?
Do not send cost of transfer of returning. Why you should assume, what they will return your work? It - porazhenchestvo. If they wish to publish it, they can write you the letter - certainly they presume to themselves it? And as you have paid to send it to them, certainly they can pay to return it?
Do not place the name in the manuscript. They are obliged to hold your manuscript together, and the covering letter not they. Anybody never would register the correspondence and submission in various places. And thus they would not hold your letter, and would send your submission to someone else to estimate it. It never happens.
Do not speak them, how many words it. Certainly they can calculate?
Do not use a standard font. Others do all, and you want, that your manuscript stood from crowd.
Do not use a new tape or a cartridge. Why expenditure leads round ink when the manuscript to reprint before the publication anyhow?
Do not say to them, that you have sent it to other editors. That they do not know, cannot damage them. And you can always play one editor away against another when both of them the offer you the publication. Certainly they will understand, what they cannot expect, what the exclusive sight at your work without a guarantee will publish it?
Do not read supervising principles of the publication. Your work is so good, that they should publish it even if it mismatches that they say that they want. They only do not understand, that they want it nevertheless, it is all.
Only follow councils above, and you as guarantee, remain the happy fan for ever. |
