The author: Sekhar Kodaipati
The Old Indian medicine, on the Sanskrit, means "the Life Science." The Old Indian medicine as believe a lot of scientific, is the oldest curative science. Knowledge Ayurvedic as believe, has occurred in India more than 5000 years ago.

It is a full and complete science of the healthy counterbalanced residing which considers each person as the person, with the unique constitution of a body of mind and a set of circumstances of a life. All these factors consider in definition, whether natural curative approaches or if changes in daily residing be made to help with healing should be shown and to advance durability.

The Old Indian medicine gives great value to prevention and encourages health service through close attention to balance in a life, correct reflexion, a diet, a way of life and use of grasses. The knowledge of Old Indian medicine allows to understand how to create this balance of a body, mind and consciousness according to own individual constitution and how to make a way of life change to cause and support this balance.

The same as all have a unique fingerprint, each person has a specific sample of energy - an individual combination of physical, intellectual and emotional features - which includes their own constitution. This constitution is defined in the concept by many factors and remains to the same during a life.

It is a lot of factors, and internal and external, operate on us to break this balance and are reflected as change in the constitution from the counterbalanced state. Examples of these emotional and physical efforts include the emotional state, a diet and food elections, seasons and weather, a physical trauma, work and family relations. As soon as these factors are understood, once can take appropriate measures to cancel or minimise their effects or to eliminate the reasons of instability and to restore the original constitution. Balance - the natural order; instability - the disorder. Health - the order; illness - the disorder. Within a body there is a constant interaction between the order and the disorder. When everyone understands the nature and disorder structure, it is possible to restore the order.

In Old Indian medicine we consider the person as the unique person made of five primary elements. Elements - an aether (place), air, fire, water, and the earth. The same as in the nature, we also have these five elements in us. When any of these elements will be present at environment, they will have in turn influence on us. Products with which we eat also weather, are only two examples of presence of these elements. While we - connection of these five primary elements, at certain elements as it is noticed, are ability to unite to create various physiological functions. The aether and air unite to generate that is known in Old Indian medicine as Vata dosha. Vata operates a movement principle and consequently the reference, breath, and elimination can be noticed as force which directs nerve impulses. Fire and water - elements, which unite to generate Pitta dosha. Pitta dosha is transformation or metabolism process. Transformation of products to nutrients which can assimilate our bodies, is an example functions pitta.

Pitta also it is responsible for a metabolism in body and fabric systems just as a cellular metabolism. At last, it - preobladajushche water and terrestrial elements, which unite to generate Kapha dosha. Kapha - that is responsible for growth, adding unit of structure unit. Other function Kapha dosha should offer protection. The brain back liquid protects brain and a backbone and is type Kapha, found in a body. Besides, alignment of a mucous membrane of a stomach - other example Kapha dosha protection of fabrics.

All of us are made of unique proportions Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These relations doshas change on each person; and because of it, the Old Indian medicine sees each person as a special mix which makes our variety.
