Today we are going to concentrate on 1 King 19:11-12 which reads, “Then He has told,“ Go, and the stand on a grief before the LORD. ”Also behold, the LORD passed by, both the big and strong wind has torn in mountains and has broken rocks in parts before the LORD, but the LORD was not in a wind; and after a wind earthquake, but the LORD was not in earthquake; and after earthquake fire, but the LORD was not on Fire; and after fire still small voice.”
I spoke last time about how important it should concentrate on the God. Today I wish to specify on why it is so important. To adjust today’s the Bible account, allow me to give you short background Elijah and its situations.
Elijah was the prophet of the God during domination of the King ahava and King Ahaziah of Israel. This specific account took place during domination of King Ahab’s when Elijah has been compelled to run away from the Libertine of the Queen, wives of Kings Ahab’s. The libertine who worshipped to god Canaanite Vaala and protected 450 prophets Vaala. She also has tried to exterminate all prophets of the God.
In a verse above, we read abacus Elijah running to Beersheba. It has faced good luck, disappearing in a cave which is afraid for his life. When the God at last speaks with Elijah, the God has told to it to leave and stand on a grief before It. As we read in a verse 11, to us say, that while Elijah stood on a grief, the God passed by. The big strong wind passed by and was torn uphill and broke separately rocks. But, to us say, that the God was not in a wind.
After the wind has arrived earthquake, then has arrived, fire, but the God was not in one of those, also. But, then there has arrived still small voice. About what it speaks all? Well, it would be possible to expect, based on examples in earlier bible collisions good luck, that if the God should pass by, you clearly would know it. But, here we find what not to take place.
Here, while Elijah stood on a grief, the strong wind has arrived and has torn uphill and has broken rocks separately.
The account does not speak, but in the first Elijah, probably, thought, that it was the God. Then earthquake and fire have appeared — both times, Elijah, probably, thought, again, that it, probably, there was a God. At last, to us say, that the God was found out, but not by drama way, it was only still small voice which has heard Elijah.
Now, point of all of it if we constantly allow noise of this world which is cares of our daily lives to take precedent on the God, we can still small voice very easily Ms. God's, and live in mediocrity and not accept the God is better for our lives. It is the primary reason for refusal in a life of Christians. Too often still small voice of the God is muffled by cares of a bottom.
As with point I made about Elijah, complaining in a verse 10, this complaint, probably, easily was in way Elijah, receiving news from the God earlier. Jews 13:8, the God - still “same yesterday, both today, and for ever says to us, that.“ Even today, we can easily muffle still small voice of the God in our lives, and not hear that the God can try to tell to us.
We’ve, the trainee according to it world’s ways which certainly we should know but that is even more important, we should concentrate the attention to the God and Its nobility. We should be convinced, that have listened to its still small voice. Given; it’s, not easy to make with all derivations round us, but it is obligatory, if we live really successful lives here and now and in eternity.
We will discuss following time, as the God communicates to us today and as from time to time still small voice of the God is hardly heard within us. It is everything to force us to concentrate on It and it is far from senseless cares of the world on which the Satan would like to make so that we have concentrated. The Satan knows, when we will be concentrated to our daily problems in the world, we will not concentrate on the God. |
