It also finds expression in behaviour (for example, assertiveness/robkost, confidence/caution). Besides, the self-respect can be considered as steady feature of individuality or as a time psychological condition. At last, the self-respect can be defined for specific measurement or global in degree.
Level and quality of self-respect though it is correlated, are not identical. The self-respect can be high, but fragile and low, but steady. However, quality of self-respect can be indirectly estimated in several ways: (I) in terms of its constancy during long time (stability), (II) in terms of its independence on specific conditions which observe (not unforeseen circumstance), and (III) in terms the that which have how much taken roots it at the basic psychological level (nejavnost or automatism).
By you feel about you directly, your self-respect or a self-estimation, conducts your thoughts. These thoughts transform to actions which are key factors in reception, that you want from a life. If you do not reach the purposes, do not hurry up and estimate, as you feel about you directly. Achievement of your purposes undertakes the repeated action, and you cannot surrender too early. The high self-respect can give you the engine, definition, and the personal power should undertake these actions and to be a constant while you do not achieve success.
However, if you are constantly critically adjusted in relation to you directly then these feelings will reduce your self-respect. If you have a low self-respect, it will be heavier to undertake correct actions to allow you to reach the purposes. This relation between thoughts and actions - that interferes with you to begin or that forces you to surrender. So, what you can make to win uncertainty in and to strengthen your actions? All it usually begins with positive reflexion. The beginning spending some time, congratulating you is direct for this purpose that you have reached earlier in a life.
All definitely had its or its action of a victory. Make the list of these vypolneny and you undertook what actions to force them to occur.
Think of obstacles which you have overcome or you undertook what special actions to reach each purpose. It is an excellent way to recognise your successes and to stimulate your confidence. Your list will be a basis on which you are based for the future successes. Negative thoughts - the limiting murderer of the dream, known to the person! Speaking you "I cannot" directly reduce your self-respect which will reduce efficiency of any actions which you undertake, and interfere with that you have reached the purposes. Your list will assure you every time when the negative reflexion tries to accept your mind. Instead of it stop "I cannot" to tell for you directly, "I can". Positive thoughts bring confidence, optimism, and the concentrated action which give you much more the best chance of achievement of your purposes. " I can "be the best by to impart seeds in your mind for positive thoughts. The turning out high self-respect will provide additional territory, that you should drive away the fears and eliminate any doubt which interferes with you to receive things in a life which you wish to reach. |
