I’ve, playing around with Technorati WTF (which maintains for “Where’s Fire”), and I’ve, observing this some time. Actually, several minutes ago I have created WTF for Dejva Pasternack.
Anyhow, they estimate the histories based on quantity of voices which it receives and when the quantity of voices dies out during time, below history plum (that I see). The more voices which you receive, the above you rise.
Now this does not demands, that the ton of brain activity has found out it works Digg the same way. If you receive certain quantity Diggs you will reach initial page. During long time you will be lowered initial page when quantity Diggs will die out. Certainly they have a buried section, but it - because they have many presented histories while Technorati WTF it is still new, and does not receive so many histories.
Now I used Digg as an example, even thus, that the majority of other Social website of mass-media as Netscape works the same way. I’m, only reflecting here, but you think, what Technorati WTF will last long in the Social industry of mass-media, or they will die out?
I personally do not think, that they can sustain to compete with Digg, but the fact, that at them is much bloggers, could be advantage before Digg as bloggers obviously wish to speak (differently they, would not blogs) belong. |
