Situation comedies have changed from a favourite number of 1970 (“All in the Family,” “Newhart,” “The Mary's Tyler Moore Display,” and so on). I think, that changes in a situation comedy were natural reflexion of changes in a society. Faster – repeated histories on which walk, in game – the party is more than representation of a various way of life and characters. All from which I think, very well.
There’s, also more realistic sight at a society, probably, reflected on newer displays. Certainly more cynical sight which, also, I think, reflects the tenor of times.
I really think, that the situation comedy has survived as it’s the transformed. I think, that we, probably, saw the end of a trace of laughter and, is possible even the end of a traditional repeated shot of a format of the chamber before a live audience. Whether the advantage or bad I do not knows that’s. Succeeded those displays of an audience were especial enough. And, for authors and actors you really received those sharp sensations of performance before a live audience. In the end, nevertheless, that format could limit also. We have tried to increase the Universe of a situation comedy with our approach to Spin the City. A shot approximately half before an audience. Half on a site. Used 5, sometimes 6 chambers – steadi-fist party in attempt to create satisfying hybrid.
But, basically, I think, that TV right now - that it always was - “the better from times” and “the worst of times” at the same time. There there are some excellent situation comedies. Betti “Ugly,” “Scrubs,” “The Office” to name three, that my children have insisted, that I observe. Last two numbers which I partly followed, "Friends" and “Will and Grace,”, so ever were amusing as any made, I think.
What’s, various during this moment and time and collision on everything, is new technology, instant estimations, more or less mad requirement for mind of a network to amaze very specific, very young demographic.
When I have begun the career of the letter in 1975 and through the majority of Communications "Family" years in early to the middle 80’s was only three networks. For any of those networks was to lose money difficultly actually. It was really more question of how can highly go we.
Also was extremely rare to cancel display in brief after only a few episodes. If you had an order rather 13, it was more norm for all 13 to receive chance to air. If you look back back on “Cheers,” “Hill the Street Blues,” “St. In other place,” and Communications "Family" for example, these displays all slowly began. But, they existed in an economic climate, where they could remain on TV long enough for spectators to find them. When I influenced the Grant "Lou", we were the absolute estimated lowest image display one week and then later that the same year display number all one displays. I’m, not assured which could happen ever again.
When I influenced on “The Toni's Randall Display” in 1979 technology which existed, could provide only suddenly, estimating for three cities: New York, Chicago, and LA. Sometimes you should wait day or two days for national estimations to enter. Be frequent they could on direct contrast in relation to those supernights. It has led to the people taking, wait and vidte the relation about numbers in general much more.
The most artful development was, I think, this similar lemmingu a network go on rock in an altar demographic 18-34-летнего. I like 18-34 years. I have two of them as daughters. I one was direct once. But, I think, that it’s, damaging holds our whole culture the hostage to this very changeable group of consumers. It forces networks to panic in any sign of trouble, jerk displays, to try something new, to try something another. Try something sharp. All in desperate attempt to receive attention of group, that isn’t their payment very much attention. Expenses much more bolshego quantities of time with their computers both their phones and their games.
The TV has gone were our big national marching fire to a number small, private and personal "fires" where we’re, separated by age, race, and a floor, it is better to be sold. I think that’s something like loss.
There’s The fourth element, also, I think. Networks - ABC, NBC, Si-Bi-Es, and the Fox - have been made a fool by the big corporations, and the superair systems of delivery working on our public radio-waves, giving the maintenance of our lives and hopes, and dreams - only small flashes on screens of profit of hippopotamuses which operate them.
The fact, that the financial rule of interest has been corrected, allowing these networks now to have their own programming, has led to "mafia-like" suffocation on means of production as they cause themselves in undesirable "partnerships" with creative community. And, it leads to dangerously thin opening above pipes of ideas.
Is no more Handicraftsmen of the Grant, there is no more Bill Paleys, Leonard Goldensons who was announcers to their bones. The one who was proud of their empires of communications, place great shop in trust, has given, that they and their requirement charter-party worked as the public in public interest. That idea is so strange, as Geneva Agreements Diku Cheney.
One thing I know. There’s any returning. |
