Second half of last century saw huge advance payments in medical and technologies of public health services; as a result it not only has increased life expectancy of people, but also and in general, has made people more healthy and suitable. The generation born during a population explosion (born beetween1946-1964) is the first generation which will directly benefit from these advancements. So withdrawing days when work of people to age 60 or 65, and then leave to gardening or golf game.
This generation expects to live much longer than any other generation in mankind history, and very physically just as is mentally capable to make so. The number of aged people more than 50 about a quarter of the American population, and there is obliged to be huge shortage in a labour if all of them leave to the world of their houses. It gives fluctuations of the devoted persons of the industry concerning shortage of a labour which could end. The generation born during a population explosion is in the best position which will be actively used post resignation. Many will leave their current boring workplaces, and will make some thing which they love or always dreamt of performance. Some could work the full working day while some will continue to work part time, or work as non-staff employees just as to do some other things which could interest them, such as social security.
For some less successful who has, their lives doing low workplaces of wages spend, they, will not have a choice of resignation from active workplaces, and should continue to work. There is also a considerable quantity of old workers which have not has rescued enough during their active service life, and to have rather high standard of living. Such people also should work, if they expect to support their current way of life. However, believing, that their majority has good health for their age just as shortage of a labour, these people can expect to be actively employed.
But the senior workers should reach the agreement with a modern place of work, in essence, use of computers which focuses any industry. The majority of people from this generation have not has grown with computers, and some felt broken with this technology. But statistical data show, that more older persons use the computer and the Internet in their daily routines. Today, 54 % of aged people more than 50 use the Internet, from 38 % approximately five years ago. It is the positive tendency, and it will be final better prospect of the senior people addressing to work.
The senior people will find, that for the majority of workplaces, that they would like to choose do not, demand the basic computer programmer, but only knowledge and the statement of the basic computer skills. It includes -
• ability to use the mouse to spend the cursor, and be able spend through files and folders on computers.
• Action by the basic programs Microsoft Office, in essence the Word (to make word documents), Excel (to influence on krupnoformatnye tables), and PowerPoint (to influence representations).
• Ability to see the Internet to get the information (including use of search cars as Google which does this problem rather easy), and be able send and receive electronic letters through network based mail program.
